2022 Scholarship Winners

Junior Division Winner:

Annalyn Abraham

Annalyn Abraham says she wants to be “a teacher of some sort” someday. Maybe she should consider music. The eighth grader at Sonoran Trails Middle School also says she started singing when she learned how to talk, and now she gets to share her talent at an Upscale Singers concert as the winner of the junior division, one year after finishing fourth. She has been in the school chorus for eight years and the drama club and musical theater for four years.

Senior Division winner:

Noelle Hammond

Broadway is Noelle Hammond’s dream. The way she’s going, someday it could be her reality. After winning the junior division last year, she took the senior division title this time. The 10th grader at Anthem Preparatory Academy has been dancing for 12 years, competitively for four, and also likes to write songs, paint, draw and do video edits. Her more immediate goal is to major in musical theater and minor in criminal justice at the University of Michigan.
