Margaret Miner (nee Watson) has traveled many musical roads to come to Upscale Singers. Having grown up in the Pasadena area, she stayed close by to receive both her Bachelors and Masters of Music from the University of Southern California where she received both Music Education and Performance degrees. She covered Western United States performing in various Dinner Theaters, Cabarets, Summer Stock and toured with Opera A La Carte, a Gilbert and Sullivan Repertory Company. When it came time to settle down, she first headed to the mountains of Sun Valley Idaho and then came to Arizona. Since being here she has directed children’s musicals at North Ridge Community Church, started the Show Choir Program at Notre Dame Preparatory and directs the ViTones choir at Vi at Silverstone in addition to Upscale Singers. She also teaches voice lessons to young and old alike in her private voice studio. She loves music and can’t get enough of it!
