CHERYL SIEBS SCHOLARSHIPS, SPONSORED BY KIWANIS OF CAREFREE

HAMMOND, ANDERSON EARN TOP HONORS

Noelle Hammond, a senior at Boulder Creek High School, was the Senior Division winner, and Boulder Creek freshman Lottie Anderson took first place in the Junior Division in the 2024 Cheryl Siebs Memorial Vocal Scholarships.

The victories come up with invitations to perform in Upscale Singers performances.

Hammond, who dreams of performing on Broadway someday, has been a regular top finisher in the scholarship auditions. Second- through fifth-place finishers included Jacob Romero, Madeline Hauge-Wells, Bianca de Guzman and Vanessa Hughes.

Anderson finished ahead of Beth Hreha, Madelyn Westerlind and Emily Frogley.

The scholarships are the most visible example of Upscale Singers' devotion to creating musical opportunities for local young people. Upscale Singers is a 501-c(3) non-profit organization.
